Sustainability.
Here at Locol we are consciously looking at ways to reduce the impact we have on our environment. From sourcing raw materials to manufacturing, we strive to incorporate sustainability into every step of our manufacturing process, both environmentally and socially and will collaborate with our partners to make this transparent.
As a result of sourcing materials and manufacturing products, an environmental and social footprint is left behind. By optimising our sourcing and production processes, Locol and our partners can minimise its impact on the environment. Therefore, we source cotton, polyester, leather, and cardboard from more sustainable sources. Our goal is to eliminate more and more chemicals from our production processes as well as to reduce our carbon emissions in our own operations.
Design Process.
The 3 read product creation process was created by looking at the different view points and interactions the consumer has with a product before they purchase. Using this gives us an objective way to analyse designs. We will work with you to decide what the different reads should be at the start of the process.
Attract.
This is the first point of view and contact the consumer has with the product. Here we are predominantly designing into the overall silhouette and tonality of the product. .
Engage.
Here we look to design into the details of the product to tell the story in more depth. Taking the consumer on a journey through the details we add to tell the narrative
Capture.
By this stage the consumer is compelled to try on the product and its here we design for their emotions. What is the emotional do want want the consumer to feel when wearing the product?
